I'm really sorry to hear that! The template is fully configurable and you can choose to run only your preferred instance types in the stack parameters. Likewise you can choose whether to run just spot or on-demand or both. Since each region has different instances available I made the template as flexible as possible and leave it to the users to configure it the way they want it through the stack parameters.
