And yes, I discriminate against the candidates that I feel may be more trouble than worth. They may be brilliant technical minds, but if I can't imagine working with them day in and day out then it's a no.

You can learn skills, but you can't really change your personality. So yes, I do discriminate in that sense. And I'm fine with that.
