All the increase in performance comes hand in hand with an increase in power consumption. I mean go for it and release a super-performant RPi but please release a low power version as well. Like RPi Zero but with Ethernet, more USB ports, better WiFi, etc. Not all RPi use cases require a full specs computer. While at it bundle in a RTC please :)
